As a teenager in Washington D.C., Paul Edmondson used to cut class in order to take pictures of his urban neighborhood. Years later, he carried his camera with him while kayaking to work as a Forest Service archaeologist in Southeast Alaska. But it was his two-month paddle of the remote Inside Passage from Alaska to Seattle that transformed him into a full-time photographer. Now based in Seattle, Paul loves to camp, hike and kayak with his family. His work presents a fresh take on a range of subjects, whether it be lifestyle, adventure, locations or his very mischievous seven year old daughter.
Since 1994, Paul’s work has been used worldwide in advertising, magazines, books and newspapers. His stock agencies include Getty Images and Corbis.
